Therapy as Conversation, Not Transaction.

The best work happens when we move away from clinical bureaucracy and toward a genuine human connection. I provide a grounded, non-judgmental space where you don’t have to "perform."

I work best with clients who value depth, authenticity, and a collaborative journey of self-discovery. As a solo practitioner, you work directly with me. My approach is warm and direct; we aren’t just talking, we are building a toolkit for your real life.

Teacher, Traveler, Counselor.

My path to the therapy room wasn’t linear. With a background in Women and Gender Studies, and years spent living in East Asia, I bring a "Renaissance" perspective to our work. I am a runner, a traveler, a Queer man, and a dog lover.

I am down-to-earth but well-informed, offering a steady, compassionate, and protective presence. I act as a reliable guide for those navigating the complexities of New York life, helping you find clarity and grounding amidst the noise.

An Educator at Heart

If you have never been to therapy before, I enjoy the "teacher" side of counseling. I demystify the process by sharing the how and why behind different tools so you feel empowered, not just analyzed.

A Holistic & Integrated Toolkit:

I integrate a wide range of evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique needs, including ACT, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, and Somatic Therapy. We focus on:

Self-Empowerment:

Building self-esteem, assertiveness, and the ability to self-advocate.

Living Your Values:

Managing expectations, setting healthy boundaries, and finding a sense of purpose.

Creative Processing:

We "break the box" of traditional talk therapy through Bibliotherapy, music, or using mindfulness and self-massage for Somatic Experiencing.

Relational Support for Individuals and Couples.

I prioritize human connection over clinical labels. I offer inclusive, progressive care with extensive experience supporting:

Individuals of all ages:

From those finding their footing in their 20s to those navigating the transitions of mid-life and beyond.

Couples:

Utilizing EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) to bridge gaps and build resilient communication skills.

Diverse Communities:

Including LGBTQ+ folks, immigrants, and POC
